MATERNITY, NEWBORN, FAMILY SESSIONS IN SYDNEY
Unhurried and unposed, built around the people rather than the poses.
My approach
Many of the families I photograph, I first met at their wedding. And being the one still holding the camera as the family grows is the part of this work I treasure most. You don't need a history with me to start one, though: if you've found your way here for the first time, you're every bit as welcome.
Sessions are relaxed and low-key. No stiff lines, no "everyone look here and say cheese". I let kids be kids and parents be parents, and photograph the closeness as it really is: the squirming, the belly laughs, the cuddles, the lovely chaos of it. That's where the photographs you'll keep forever actually come from.
What I photograph
-
The slow, round-bellied months of waiting, the quiet before everything changes.
-
The first bewildering, beautiful weeks, photographed gently at home rather than posed in a studio. Real and tender, the way those days actually feel.
-
The people you love at the age they are right now. The ordinary Saturday mornings that turn out to be the ones you miss most.
Where & how
At home, in your favourite park, or down by the water. Wherever you're most yourselves. No studio, no stiffness; just an easy hour together. You receive your full gallery of high-resolution images, yours to print and share however you like.

She has such a calm, easy presence and an incredible eye for capturing real, beautiful moments.

During our newborn shoot, our son cried and cluster fed for what I'm sure was the entire session, and somehow she still managed to deliver the most stunning photos. I have no idea how she did it, but I’ll be forever grateful that she captured those precious early days so beautifully.

No pressure at all. I’ll gently guide things and follow their lead and I always prepare time for feeding, comforting, and settling. The best photos usually come from the in-between moments, not perfect behaviour.

My approach is natural and connection-focused. I do not use elaborate props or heavily posed setups. Instead, I gently guide you while documenting real moments — holding, comforting, feeding, and connecting with your baby.
This allows your photographs to feel timeless, emotional, and personal.

Absolutely. These sessions are about documenting your family connection, and loved ones are always welcome.

Simple, neutral tones work beautifully. I recommend avoiding big text and strong, neon colours. I’ll send a short guide after booking, and you’re always welcome to send me options if you’d like help.

If the weather isn’t suitable, we’ll reschedule to the next available date, no stress.

Life can happen and I will try my best to accomodate this, however, sessions are timed to allow for travel between different shoots/ locations. If you arrive late, your session will be shortened accordingly, as I’m not able to extend or move other bookings.
